Ordering Just One Plate?
No problem. If you only need a single plate, just select “None” on the plate you don’t need. The price will automatically update so you only pay for the one you’re ordering.
 
“Shortest Possible” Plates Explained
Shortened plates are 100% road legal. When you choose this option, we’ll make your number plates on the smallest legal size your registration can fit onto out of the following list.
Our available sizes are:
  • 20" (520mm) – Standard size
  • 18" (465mm) – For 7 characters
  • 16" (406mm) – For 6 characters
  • 13" (338mm) – For 5 characters
 
(These may vary slightly depending on whether your registration includes narrow characters such as 1 or I.) We can also make custom sized number plates, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise.
 
Fitting Options:
Choose the installation method that works best for you:
  • Sticky Pads (pack of 10): Quick, easy, and leaves a clean, no-drill look with a strong hold.
  • Screw Pack: Install using screws, but do not drill or screw on/near the letters or edges of the plate. Any damage caused by drilling is not covered by us.
  • None: If you prefer to use your own mounting method.
 
Each option is designed to make installation simple and reliable.
 
‘Road Legal?’ Explanation:
  • Road Legal Spacing – Your plate will be automatically spaced to meet UK legal requirements. We’ll ensure the spacing is correct so it’s ready to use on the road, with all the necessary road legal markings.
     
  • Show Plate Spacing – Custom spacing for show or display purposes (for example, at car shows). These do not meet DVLA road-legal requirements and must not be used on public roads. We will space your registration exactly how you request. No road legal markings will be present.

  • IMPORTANT - DOCUMENTATION:

    We are legally required to see proof that you own the registration you have requested. Once your order is placed, we will send you clear, step-by-step instructions outlining our documentation process. We are required to see this documentation in person.

     

    Our new simple process:

    1. We send you a pre-paid Royal Mail 1st Class QR code

    2. Place your two required documents into an envelope

    3. Visit any Post Office and show your QR code

    4. We receive your documents the next day

    5. Your number plates are made and your documents are returned in the same package via free 1st Class delivery

     

    We pride ourselves on being one of the few online suppliers that is 100% compliant with current DVLA regulations.


    Any company accepting digital copies, photos, or no documentation at all is not operating within the rules and should not be trusted to produce your number plates legally.

  • Warranty:

    We only manufacture number plates to the highest of quality, and due to this we are confident in offering a 12 month warranty with every order. Our warranty covers all lettering on plates, and any plate discolouration. 

     

    Please note: Screwing your number plates or using third-party clips will void your warranty, as this can cause the reflective layer to lift and/or the lettering to move.

  • Road Legal? Explanation:

    All of the number plates available on our Road Legal shop section are 100% road legal if spaced correctly. 

     

    If you are wanting your number plates to be 100% road legal and MOT compliant, simply select the 'Road Legal Spacing' option on the drop down. 

     

    If you are wanting your number plate to have custom show spacing you must select 'Show Plate Spacing' which is an extra £4 per plate, due to how much longer they take us to make. 

     

    Please note: If you space your registration incorrectly and select the 'road legal spacing' option, we will alter your spacing to what it should be, which is what your v5c log book or v750 document will state.

     

    Please note: If you select 'Show Plate Spacing' we will send your registration out exactly how you have spaced it on our website, with none of our road legal company markings on the plate. 


    By ticking 'Show Plate Spacing' you are agreeing to the understanding that your plates are  not road legal, and will not be used on public roads.
